After-sales Policy

CrossBeats has *sound* policies to make buying headphones as smooth and simple a process for you, the customer. We’ve divided our policies based on the most common reasons for returns/cancellations: “the headphone doesn’t work!”, “I don’t like these headphones”, and “I don’t want these headphones anymore.”

The policy described below applies to products purchased directly from CrossBeats or CrossBeats’s authorized resellers (Amazon India, Paytm, Flipkart, Myntra,Tata Cliq, Snapdeal).  Please keep your original proof of purchase in order to exercise these policies.

Product Registration

In order to claim warranty, the product must be registered with 10 days of receiving it. Any registration after 10 days of purchase will void the warranty.

Cancellation Policy

We believe in helping our customers as far as possible and has, therefore, a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

Cancellations request will not be entertained if the orders have already been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them. There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category. No cancellations are entertained for those products that have been obtained on special occasions like Pongal, Diwali, Valentine’s Day etc. These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible.

Returns, Refund, And Replacement:

Since listening to music is such a personal experience, there are chances that one may not like the sound of even the highest rated and reviewed products. As long as your expectation of a product aligns with its price and perceived quality, you should be happy with the product. In the unlikely scenario where the product you ordered does not meet your expectations and requirements, you can choose to exchange the product for a similar priced product from our website. A refund will not be initiated if the customer is not happy with the look/sound quality of a defect-free product, a physical damage not notified within 24 hours of receiving the product, an electrical surge or any damage caused by the user.

Refund of a product is allowed only under the following circumstances:

If the product delivery takes more time than promised (reasons like natural calamities, delay due to the logistics partners, unavailability of the customer, etc are covered under exceptions and a refund will not be entertained under such circumstances), then the customer can cancel the order and the full amount will be refunded back to the customer within 14 working days. We do not take any responsibility for a delay in the refund because of the delays made by the bank, calamities or national holidays.

Replacement Policy

Replacement can be made if the customer establishes that the product delivered is defective or has a physical damage. In case of receipt of the damaged or defective item please report the same to our Customer Service team by sending an email to support@crossbeats.in The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 24 hours of receipt of the products. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.

The 10 Day Replacement Guarantee seeks to assist those customers who have had the misfortune of having received a defective product (For eg: one side isn’t working or dead on arrival). We try our best to make sure that all products in our warehouse are new with pristine original packaging but there’s really no way for us to ensure that the product is in 100% working condition without actually opening it up. On the off-chance that a manufacturing defect is found in a product you’ve just bought from CrossBeats, you can raise a request for replacement. Rest assured that you’ll get a brand new sealed product to replace the product returned.

Any product defect notified after 10 days of invoice will not be eligible for a replacement. A product will not be replaced if the customer is not happy with the look/sound quality of a defect free product, a physical damage not notified within 24 hours of receiving the product, an electrical surge or any damage caused by the user. The customer will be responsible for sending the defective/damaged product to the service centre and the charges will be borne by the customer itself, however, while the product is sent back to the customer the charges will be borne by the merchant. Most returns must be authorized by contacting the seller in order to obtain an official return authorization. Authorization does not guarantee exchange. We will issue an exchange upon receipt of the return package.

All returned products must be in resalable condition, including, but not limited to; all components, manuals, registration cards, and original undamaged packaging. In addition, the following restrictions normally apply:

  • Exchange cannot be issued for any AC Adapter or Battery that is missing any components or was modified by the user.
  • Some returned parts may incur a restocking fee.
  • Only ship back the CrossBeats parts that you purchased from our authorized resellers. We cannot guarantee that any other materials will be returned to you if/when we ship you an exchange

Unauthorized Returns:

An unauthorized return is defined as any package returned to CrossBeats without the proper return authorization code on the shipping label.

Unauthorized returns may include packages refused during a delivery attempt. Unauthorized returns received by CrossBeats may be refused at the warehouse and returned to the sender. In this case, you may be held responsible for the cost of shipping back the package.

Process for Returning Merchandise

  • 1. Obtain a Return Authorization email by contacting CrossBeats Support.
    •  Contact your reseller or email CrossBeats for assistance.
  • 2. Attach the email when you are sending the package.
    • The email should be clearly displayed on the package being returned to CrossBeats. Packages without an authorized email may not be accepted by our warehouse.
  • 3. Repack in original packaging
    • All contents in the original package must be received, including, but not limited to; all components, manuals, and registration cards. Place the packaged product in a protective outer box. We must receive all original products in order to process your return or exchange. CrossBeats is not responsible for products that are damaged due to poor packaging, defaced packaging, or lost shipments.

What does the CrossBeats Warranty cover?

During the product’s warranty period, if the original manufacturer of the material or workmanship of the product is deemed to be defective, CrossBeats will (at its sole option) replace the product at no charge with the same or comparable product. Products and parts replaced under this warranty become the property of CrossBeats and are not returned to you. If products and/or parts service is required after the warranty period expires, you must pay all labor and parts charges. Warranty coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the product. What does the CrossBeats Warranty not cover?

This warranty does not cover:

  • Improper Use or Installation
  • Cosmetic damage
  • Damage due to acts of nature or God. For example; lightning strikes, tornadoes and the like
  • Accidents
  • Misuse
  • Abuse
  • Negligence
  • Commercial use
  • Modifications to any part of the Product, including the antenna
  • Battery ( In-built )
  • In-Built Microphone

This warranty also does not cover:

  • Connection to an incorrect voltage supply
  • Attempted repair by anyone other than an authorized facility

CrossBeats shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for the breach of any express or implied warranty on this product, including, but not limited to; lost data, loss of use of your product, lost business or lost profits. CrossBeats makes no other express warranties with respect to the product, all express and implied warranties for the product, including, but not limited to; any implied warranties of and conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the warranty period set forth above and no warranties, whether express or implied, will apply after the warranty period. Some states, provinces and jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state or province to province.
